i just tryed it myself, whatever you do don,t use Clairol natural instincts, it took my breath, made me feel sick to my stomach and now i,m having chest pains go to a professional!Going from Blonde highlights to Brown hair at home?
Yeah, it should be fine. Be thourough so that you don't leave any blonde spots and do some touch up tomorrow if needed.
first go to sally beauty supply. you can get what the pros use and do it your self .first thing you need is a filler to cover the blonde.
use ion color it is better for your hair then most box colors and it will not cost much more.pick a color at least one shade lighter.
if you pick a medium brown it will go black .so your best bet will be go with the light natural brown.if you pick something with golden in the title you will get red! always stay with natural.i think its a 5N ..the lower the number the darker it is!!!
the best thing to do is go to a professional, but if you can't then you are going to have to do somthing to your hair called '; Filling'; because your hair is missing the red color of the three primary colors that your hair is mad up of. So the easiest way to do it is to get a light red color and put it all over your head. Then you can put the brown over it in about 15-20 minutes. but make sure you get a brown that is at least two to three levels lighter then the red. And leave the brown on fro at least 30- 40 minutes. and if you can go buy color from a beauty supply store not the grocery store( they are not pure colors and could turn your hair green.( not kidding, and it's really hard and bad for your hair to fix it).
