How can i best highlight my hair at home without it turning orange???

what products do i have to buy?


I want just some light highlighting...and don't have too much to spend. I don't want orange hair though and my hair is dark brown!!!


What can i use and how do i do it please?

um, well don't dump a thing of bleach on your head first of all... :p - to whoever said that. Well herbal esences is a good line of haircare products, so just get the blonde/highlights product that you want and leave it in for a bit. Check on it every now and then to make sure that your hair is not orange and if it is orange, just let it sit for a little longer so that you can make it lighter. I hope this helps :]
you can but a thing called sun-in, i don't know how much it is though, but if you really want to do it yourself, either be MAD careful with bleach, or use lemon juice and sit outside.
go to walgreens or safeway or walmart. and go buy sun in. its a natural hilighting product.
It's safer to go to a salon.. I tried it once and it really messed my hair up.. Mine was the same color as yours..
100% liquid bleach. Just pour it on your head, and don't worry about getting it in your eyes or anything!
just let it sit longer
