I want to highlight my hair at home?

I'm in the middle (i know not best picture of me, just an example.)


i want to get one single blonde. highlight on my left side in the front , Just one little strip like 2-3 inches wide. but i wanna do it at home cause im not gonna waste more money to get one highlight done at the salon, but idk what hair color stuff to use. Do i just get a box of the dye i wanna use and just keep it around (because obvivously i'm not gonna use the whole box on one single highlight) and i just use it to touch it up every once an a while?


what's do i do?


any advice?

I think you should leave your hair the color it is. It would look weird if you dyed it.
