would that be okay? I have highlighted my hair before so I am aware of the whole process. I just want to know if there would be any problems for my hairdresser if I did it at home then did touch-ups/redos at the salon.

they dont like to work on people who did their own hair because they have no idea what chemicals you put in that can save your hair if you damage it... If I were your hairdresser, I would be pretty perturbed with you!!! Do your own touch ups if you are brave enough to do the job in the first place. It is less mess to do touch ups.





I used to charge double to do touch ups to mess ups done at home.
They might have trouble exactly matching your touch up color at the salon to the box color you choose at home, I might suggest consulting with the salon before you add highlights from the box.
Its shouldn't be bad at all as long as u did a ok job on it yourself.
