get some bleach


and a hair coloring brush


a bowl


some 40 volume peroxide


a rat tooth comb to part and separate the hair


and some cotton





take the hair you want to foil.. apply the bleach and use cotton at the base of the hair so it doesn't get onto your scalp and to the hair around itIf I wanted to highlight my hair at home with foils what else could I use besides salon foils?

but some box highlighting kits come with hair caps where you can poke strands through the cap and highlight that way.


I think its easier to use a hair cap than the foils
