Highlighting/Dying my hair at home?

It's light brown now, but I want it dirty blonde.


I normally get highlights at a salon, but I just don't have the money anymore.





Can anyone suggest a good brand that makes it easy to highlight OR dye my hair?





Also, do you have any tips?

Just walk through your local drugstore and take note of the best and less costly kits,don't get pull through caps or bleach at all.And tinting brushes and foil are always a good sign. :]
