Did you do it already before? i mean at home? you know, it's very tricky to dye dark/black hair at home especially if you don't have any experienced helper. Also some dark hair has very stubborn pigment so you will probably need some special product to make it look lighter. So my advice, go the the hair salon, ask the people there what kind of products you should use on your hair type, they will check and will help you personally.
It depends on which dye you use. Try to find one that is really good, I had a friend do this and her streaks turned out orange. But that was a long time ago, so i don't know the brand.





Maybe ask somebody in the store which dye is best.





But with the right dye I think it will look great.
Most products will give you an idea of the color on your hair, but you will not get blonde unless you strip the color out first. Probably a caramel/red hue. Try visiting L'oreal.com they have a program where you can try diff. colors on your hair.

But the sixth one is not highlights but more streeks it's a really mod look ( Rear Hue)
If you get a good quality highlight, it should come out pretty blondey, probably dark blonde.


Blonde highlights usually come out pretty well on darker hair.
do not do it at home.they never turn out right.sorry..and keep in mind that because you need to wipe out the color of your hair,it will be damaged.
