At home highlighting with Hot Topic hair dye?

I want to buy the hair dye from Hot Topic. Dark purple or dark blue.





1. Is it going to work in my hair? I have straight, dark brown almost black Asian hair.


2. Is it easy to use? or can you mess up really easily?


3. How long does it stay in? and does it damage your hair?

The Hot Topic hair dyes are ';demi-permanent'; and will last for about six washes. The darker colors like purple or blue won't show up on your hair as well as they would on lighter hair and will be more noticeable in sunlight or other strong light, but they will show up. They don't damage your hair any more than any other demi-permanent color would. There is a bonus to using that dye - they're cruelty-free. (At least Raw Hair Dye and Manic Panic are - don't know what kinds they carry now.)
